Who We Are

James has been a Director with Christian Adventure Holidays since 2000 and he is a RYA Dinghy Instructor. His professional background has been in or around aero-engines but he now works for Speak Life, a charity which sets out to captivate the church and the world with the love of Jesus. He thinks CAH is one of the best things ever.

Martin works as mediator throughout the year. He is a qualified Kayak coach, summer Mountain Leader, Mountain Bike Leader, and has volunteered with CAH for 31 years.

Peter has been a sailing leader at Christian Adventure Holidays since 2004 and a Director since 2012. He works as an Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing sector and has recently returned from a 1 year secondment in Japan.

Josh has been going to CAH since he was a camper and is now a mountain leader and kayaking instructor. Caroline is a kayaking instructor and all-round paddling enthusiast. They live in south Wales and having been directing a week since 2020.

Nick first time at CAH was as a teenager in 2006. He became a sailing leader in 2012 and began directing in 2022. He works as a patent attorney.

Rachel joined CAH more recently, and has been involved leading the kitchen team, in addition to helping direct the week. She works as a property solicitor.

They live near Brighton and love getting out on or in the sea.

James has been a leader on CAH camps for the last 10 years. He has a background in Outdoor Education, and currently runs the Red Ridge outdoor centre in mid-Wales. He is a keen mountaineer, and loves climbing anything covered in snow!

Vanessa recently moved to Bromley with her Vicar-husband. She has worked in the NHS and social services and has also managed a Christian Convention. In her spare time she loves to walk the dog, do pilates (very badly!), bake, read and spend time with family and friends.
